    Re: Necromunda

I'd like to give it a whirl. Am I wrong to assume its a 40K clone of Mordheim though?
    Wonder how this works?

    Re: Necromunda

It's sort of a 40K clone of Mordheim, but there are several different rules that make it a much different game (Overwatch being the most noteable that jumps to mind). I'd love to give the game a go, and really don't take much convincing to spend copious amounts of money on small tin soldiers...

~sigh~ Why did I open myself up to this? Wink [;)]

I'll make a Necromunda forum in the GW Specialist Games area of the Forum and here it is. Smile [:)]

    Cheers,
    Tom @ Red Claw

Well, that, and the fact that Necromunda came out several years earlier (although the history of the various campaign skirmish games that GW has created over the years is a bit tangled, with Chaos Warbands and so on mixed in).

Necromunda is a cool game.  I have three large gangs already painted, and two sets of the Necromunda terrain that came in the original box.  I also don't have time to play :(

I think it would be interesting to try.

Actually Mordheim is a clone off of Necromunda. But it's pretty much the same thing. But instead of warbands you have gangs. There are different gang types called Houses. it's a fun game.

I have played Cawdors, Orlocks and even a Guilder gang. making the terrian is easy. Just use some urban terrain. I'm currently painting a Cawdor gang to use in my Imperial Guard army.

    Re: Necromunda

I just noticed this subforum. I've got two gangs (Delaque and Goliath) that I wouldn't mind dusting off for a scrap at some point.

Sweet. I'm sure we can arrange something. We now have some good necromunda terrain at the store. And yes, I have some gangs as well.

Uhm..how about Jan 23, 2008? There won't be any Mordehim since it would be on a biweekly bases.

And we do have the terrain for it now...
