    June's Commentaries

Well sports fans the first Game to be played in June was between The Fancy Pansies and the Tails of Vengence.  The last time these two coaches played each other the Pansies won 5-1 caused 5 casualties and the other coach's team retired...

The weather at the start of the game was nice and blistery hot, just a scorcher which helped take the toll on the players.  With the Tails bringing in 2 extra doctors and some Bloodwiser babes they thought they may make it through the game...  Unfortunatly not all of them did.

The story of the first half goes like this.  Pansies scored twice and caused 3 casualties.  One by a boot to the head of the Rat Ogre. And the Tails game went downhill from there.

The second half showed that the Pansies are a good defensive team against the Scaven allowing them to hold onto the ball only briefly.  Taking it away at every turn.  Not being ones to let up they caused 3 casualties but 2 were blood spots into the ground.  Those players will be missed.

As a sort of revenge the Tails knocked 1 Pansy out but the doctor was able to save him to play the rest of the match.

    Final

Pansies 5 Tails 0 with the Pansies getting 5 casualties (2 Kills) and the Tails causing 1 Casualty.

There is an investigation into the coaching staff of the Pansies as the winnings went missing after the game...

See you next time sports fans when the Pansies meets Matt Lyons and try to extend their killing streak to 3 games...

Well the match between the Terrors of the North and Grot's Grunts is over and it was interesting. The Grot's scored first and then the Terrors near the end of the first half. In the second half the Terrors were knocking down the Grunts left and right for a bit until the worst happened to Thor. The medical team was sent out quickly but due to never having practiced their skills Thor is now in Valhalla. And once again the Terror's Baldr was injured making him the worst player for sure with his armour now busted in 2 locations. The Terrors then sent one of the Grunts Black Orcs to the lower pits of hell shortly there after in response. Add in a few more hits all around and another touchdown for the Terror's Fenris to end the game 2-1 for the Terrors.

    Re: June's Commentaries

A rather lackluster crowd came out to witness what proved to be an exciting match between two Chaos Dwarf teams, The Ice Cream Lickers and Da'Bulls.

Da'Bulls limped onto the field missing 4 of their most skilled and toughest players, including their minotaur The Stud and Alejandro Almaya, the fastest hobgoblin in the league.  The Ice Cream Lickers were at full strength allowing Da'Bulls to purchase Bloodweiser Babes for the match and although Da'Bulls enjoyed the brew they brought it made no difference to the outcome.

Da'Bulls chose to receive in the first half planning on pummelling The Ice Cream Lickers early to establish an advantage in numbers.  This didn't quite pan out.  Although, Da'Bulls did score 4 turns into the first half by turn 6 they were down 6 players including 3 of their 5 Chaos Dwarves.

The Ice Cream Lickers seemed more interested in pounding on Da'Bulls than in scoring and the first half ended with Da'Bulls up one-zero.

The second half started off similar to the first,  injuries piling up on Da'Bulls and The Ice Cream Lickers scoring an easy TD.

Da'Bulls set up with only 4 players, 2 Bull Centaurs, 1 Chaos Dwarf, and an exhausted hobgoblin (Manolo Martinez who had used a magic item to increase his strength to score early in the first half and was weaker for it).  A short kick meant Manolo had to pick up the ball only a few feet from The Ice Cream Lickers' star Minotaur blitzer who had already put 3 of Da'Bulls' players into the casualty box.  A quick pass to Iron Fist and Da'Bulls were in possession on the line of scrimmage.  A brief tussle left the ball on the ground and the hopes of Da'Bulls fading fast.  The Ice Cream Licker's star Minotaur blitzer then made a tragic mistake, blitzing into Elephante II put him out for the rest of the game.  Da'Bulls capitalized on the unexpected turnover, Red Rock II blitzed through Baskin Robbins and scored a turn later.  Bringing Da'Bulls to a 2-1 victory finishing the game with only 4 players.

Well, Da'Bulls lumbered along to another victory today vs The Black and Tan.  Winning the mostly uneventful match 1-0.  With only two casualties and one touchdown it was one of the most uneventful of the season.  The Black and Tan were ready for a bloodfest that never materialized, using their inducement money to recruit the services of two wandering apothacaries.  They never needed the services of any, their only casualty being their journeyman.  Da'Bulls are at least pleased by the fact that The Stud has finally contributed to a game by causing his first casualty of his career.

    Re: June's Commentaries

Well for the Makeup game between Da Wall and the Pansies went how the mobsters would bet.  An uneventful casualty game with Da Wall getting one and Pansies 2.  And again the Pansies outscored their opponents 6-0.

    Sorry Lazy today
