The HORDES Evolution Stampede event is now confirmed. It's going to be on Saturday, October 20th. There's space for 15 players, and from the look of things those spots are going to go pretty quickly, so I suggest that you sign up as soon as possible. You can sign up through the online store (HERE) or in the store.

Half of the Tournament spots are taken and paid for. If you know someone who is on the fence about this tournament, get them in (or to the webstore) today. I'd like to be able to increase the number of participants, but we cannot physically house more than 7 games of Hordes at a time. Once we have this tourney under our belt we may be able to squeeze more in, but for now it's capped at 15 people. Get your place today!

Are we going with definate 500 pt's or is this debateable i'm curious if anybody would want to go 750? and yes I know 500 is faster I want to see peoples opinions?

It would be easier to put together a balanced army with 750 points, although I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.  I don't have a strong preference either way, really.

I like 500 pts. Faster games and it will make army building much more challenging.

I just want to thank Tom for Hosting this event, and Jeff for running it, I also want to thank all of those people that came out, I had a Blast... I actually enjoyed a few games a hordes, which, other than the sunday games with my personal group and the occasional games at home with Todd, hasn't been hapening... So thanks everyone.

Thanks Tom and Jeff for running a great event.  I enjoyed the format quite a bit, and I wouldn't mind playing something similar again.  I had lots of fun, and it was kind of neat seeing an all-Hordes event.

My only suggestion would be to allow more time or play even smaller games, so we can fit more battles in.  A 350 point Mangled Metal/Tooth & Claw event in the same format would be a lot of fun. 

edit: apparently the "other" gaming store only had 8 players, so we weren't the only ones with a low-ish turnout.
