Just thought I'd stick my head out and call all the painters and "die"ers to the table for some pre battle smack talk, or just an old fashiond BS session. Personally my ogres are gunning for the tomb kings and their POS casket of souls. Who created that thing any way. There is no way it's balanced. But I have to take it because it's a rule , next time at least let me have the vaseline first. Even mixed with sand it goes down alot smoother. And Tom if any of my text is over the top I do apoligize, am trying to be PC as much as posssible while still maintaining my great hatred of the Casket. We got armies with blood knights and Hell cannons and your afraid of the casket of souls...that things easy to deal with.

I am mostly dying.  My heroes didn't even resemble ready for the first deadline, deifnitely the wrong time of year to sign myself up for this sort of event =).

Don't Ogres have a banner or unit or something with MR2?  Just toss that out there and your casket problems sort themselves out.

I have 10 plague monks left for my specials. Still haven't started my cores stuff though (about 100 models to paint - gotta love Skaven)

My TK are proceeding nicely.  Specials are half done and hopefully will be 3/4 done by the end of today!  I'd stop worrying about the Ark... er... I mean Casket and worry more about the ridiculously cheap and sick Hellcannon.

I mistakenly thought core had to be painted first so almost all my core is done. The're just skeletons anyway. Took 10 min.
My special is a little different though. I have 6 ushapti to paint and I\m sick and at my brothers so I'm not able to paint anything. We'll see if I can get them done for Saturday. And I have my tomb guard as well. Havnt even started them. At least I only have 1 special, whose name is Bone Giant! That won\t take long to do.
 The rest of my core is chariots and I'm not looking forward to that.

K here's a tip. To not get hit by the casket of souls all you have to do is... Don't look at it. Simply end all your movements facing backwards and you'll be fine. Easy.

I'm sure my ogres will be just as stumped by the hash cannon and the pus knights but I didn't face those at the first tourney so their not really on the hate list yet but I'm sure{positive}that they will be addded quickly and then I'll worry about defeating them. Cannons are an ogres best freind so the hash cannnon can't be all bad. Can it? {biting nails}

It's truly unfortunate that they delayed and recalled the paint gun... indefinately. It would've made my terrain-painting this past Saturday (that you didn't come to ) so much easier.
