Playing
the Campaign.
Every player starts with x systems. Each players picks a faction they would like
to play for the campaign (the players can not change there faction when playing
the campaign).
At the beginning of each week the players put there names in
a draw to find out who is an attacker.
The players name that where drawn will get to pick who they would attack
out of the players that did not have there name pulled.
I.E.-We have 6 players playing in the
campaign (Warren, Sean, Tim, Don, John and Mark). Every player that shows up get there name in
a hat. Then we draw 3 names 1st
name is Sean, the 2nd name is John, and the 3rd name is Warren. So that leaves Tim, Don, and Mark as the
defenders.
Now the Sean
had his name drawn first he has the first pick out one of the defenders to
attack so he picked Don to attack. Then
John was the 2nd name to be drawn and he picked Tim to attack, so
that leaves Warren to attack
Mark. After the battles of the attackers
are done the systems change hands and now the defenders are now the attackers.
Now Don was
attacked first by Sean in the privies round Don gets to pick first (he picked
warren to attack) then Tim (he picked Sean) then Mark (he has to attack John)
Now that the attacking is done for the week that systems
that was won changes hands to the new dominators and next weeks another round
is started all over again, until a player controls 60% of the map.
Battles
in the Campaign
Points
After we decide the
attackers and defenders the battles begins.
The attacking player rolls a D6 to decide what points they are going to
play. (the player can allways agree on points to play with)
1- The
defender pick a point value from 1000 pts to 2000 pts
2- 1000
pts
3- 1500
pts
4- 1500
pts
5- 2000
pts
6- The
attacker picks a point value from 1000 pts to 2000 pts
*if a player does not have enough
points the 2 players can come up point value that works for the players.*
When the points are decided the players make there armies,
they will have 10 minutes to do so. The
armies have to fallow the platoon pattern in the army books. Only 1 hero will used in the day (I.E. - Tim
is playing the UNA and in the battle versus John, when he was making his army
Tim decided that the hero “Starks” well help him protect the system that is
getting attacked. But when it’s time for
Tim to attack Sean, Tim can not use a Hero in the game when he makes an army.)
Terrain
Now that the players are ready to fight they
need to set up the battle field. Each
player well put terrain on there ½ of the battle field as they wish. What the player gets will be random on a roll
of a D6
1- 1
c-can 3 cement barriers
2- 1
c-can 6 cement barriers
3- 2
c-can 6 cement barriers
4- 3
c-cans 6 cement barriers
5- 3
c-cans 9 cement barriers
6- 3
c-cans 9 cement barriers and you get to place one of your opponent terrain
piece in there zone any way you like (can not use this if your opponent rolls a 1.)
Players have 5 minutes to set up there battle field.
- The players can use
other objects in stead of the game terrain above. But the terrain peaces must be about the same
size and your opponent must know the size of the peaces your playing with.
-If both players like
to play with a big piece of terrain they can put one on the table if both can
agree on the size of it and if it can be destroyed or not.
The attacker sets up 1 of his peaces 1st then the
defender does 1, then attacker and so on…
The Terrain can be
target and destroyed in the battle. See page # of the AT-43 rule book.
Armor Structure pts Size

C-cans 8 3 3
Set up
The start of the Battle
is random set up every time you play after you set up the terrain, unless the players agree on the set up. The defender
rolls a d6 to find out how you bring the troops on the field.
1 and 4 – Access zone (pg86 of rule book) deploy from the
table edge
2 and 5 – Drop Zone, We well be using a nanogenerator at a
range of 3 from the left of the battle field and 2 from your side of the table
eage. Your units as they come onto the battle field can start 10 cm from the
centre of the nanogenerator and then may act.
3 and 6 - Deployment zone (pg86 of rule book) all units are
deployed up to a range of 2 from your side of the battle field. The defender puts 1 unit down, then the
attacker, then defender and so on…
Now begin your battle.
Battles
Normal game rules well be used to play the battle.
- Defending players well get a +1 for there
authority test for having home field advantage. This is representing the
defenders knowledge of the planet landscape and defenses.
- If this is the last planet
the player is defending that player well receive a bonus 250 pts to add in
there army. This is to help the play to
stay in the game abet longer and to represent the army desperate will to fight
for there survival.
-The battle is over when - one of the players
kills the point value of the starting points,
-Report your battles
then the next round starts.
When man can't destroy their enemy, they will destroy themselves.
