I propose this thread to announce victories for each banner/faction.

To start 2 massacar victories for the Hordes of Chaos over the High elves and Fenres's Vamp counts.

I shall use those two victories to add a wound to one of my heralds of Tz.

 

 

A massacre for the (Dread) Knights of Sanctuary, righting a wrong commited against young Krym Draich who was knocked of his pretty manticore by a bullying ogre jerk and his cadre of ne'er do wells.

A note to the Ogres, if you want to go picking on little Lordlings make sure Daddy isn't watching around the corner on his new '09 Black Dragon eXtreme edition.

Is fraction some 40k thing? I have a couple of friends that also say fraction and they play 40k.

If you chack the Banners of the Old World thread, the first post is updated by Tom to reflect the battles won and lost as reported via the form on the main page. I don't know if there is a place where we say what character has what VP's or Vet Skills so maybe we can do that here?

Tom may well record our victories in the banners thread but he told me to post my wins and losses on the forum. I thought the banner forum might get a bit long if we do that and ask rules questions there at the same time.

I propose.

One thread for rules questions,

one for fluff

one for victories and defeats

and the banners of the old world thread to rule them all and in the darkness bind them....

Are you a Mormon? I just ask because I have a Mormon friend and he says "chack" all the time. It's check, with an "e" not an "a".

And yes, I told Russ that he could start a thread to record the victories/tell stories/describe how he pillaged the women and raped the lands of the other banners... sort of what your High Elves tried to do to my poor, innocent Lizardmen. Stapid High Elves...

Till then did you chack out the edumacation I laid out on Ogres whilst flying my dragon and checking my hair irregardless of the wind direction? It was wacked aresome dude! And posted in this very thread.

Might be a good idea to start another thread for character fluff. Kind of like Tom posted he would later today.

Lord Judas Bloodspire escorting The Black Coach marched against the Dark Elves (Corey) and won a Minor Victory.

The Vampire Isabella died after being riddled with Reaper Bolts, Crossbow Bolts and a Magic Onslaught.

The Vampire Vlad was able to kill a Sorceress with the Gaze of Nagash but as hard as he tried he could not kill the Supreme Sorcerous as she continuously stole the souls of his Skeletons.

The army of Lord Fenris and his Cairn Wraiths were massacred by the Tzeentch Army. All the Vampires were able to escape.

Lord Fenris regroups and his Cairn Wraiths attack the High Elves (Stephen). The Battle ends in a draw but Vampire Cerberus was killed. A High elf Mage was slain in revenge.

Lord Baldur rouses the Blood Knights to push the High Elves back after Lord Fenris' failures. Lord Baldur takes the field with a Massacre running both the Sword Masters and a Dragon from the battle.

Lord Fenris once again takes the field of battle knowing a 3rd failure will have him cast out of the inner circles. This time his Cairn wraiths face the mighty Ogres and the relentless undead horde holds fast.
Cerberus fresh from his coffin engages a Butcher in challenge; the butcher was prepared and knew just how to gut a Vampire. Cerberus once again has been killed, to be place in his coffin for regeneration.
Though the Tyrant of the Massacred Ogres escaped from the battle a Corpse of one of the Butchers was discovered, already half eaten by ghouls.

Lord Judas marches with the Black Coach against the Beastmen. The battle is bloody, the Beastmen hold out for many hours but steadfast legions pushed the Beastmen back for a minor victory.

After wining the victory against the Beastmen, Lord Judas encounters the Dark Elves. The battle ensues, Lord Judas' plans are going accordingly but the Winds of Chaos erupt against the Vampires dark magic. Multiple miscasts cause many wounds and dispels the Curse placed on the Dread Lord and his Dragon. The simple spells needing to be cast have all failed, leaving the Vampires Vlad, Isabella and Konrad open for Attack.

The Dread Lords army crushes the vampire heros leaving Judas and the Black Coach out numbered and surrounded. Judas Bloodspire torn apart by the many monsters joins Vlad in the stomachs of the Dark Elf Beasts.

The Newly appointed Lord Gabriel takes the Army of the revered Black Coach against the Daemon armies. Summoning many hordes of Zombies holds daemons at bay for many hours but relentless daemons push through.

The Bloodthirster managing to flank the Vampires army is met by the vampires Vlad, Isabella and Konrad leading their skeletons. Again the vampires hold the Bloodthirster for many hours but a herald on chariot joins the Bloodthirster turning the tide against the vampires.

The Vampire army fails in stopping the daemons, leading to a massacre. The routed vampires fail to recover Vlad's corpse.

Meanwhile at the borders Ulthuan Fenris leads the Cairn Wraiths to Victory. The shear terror of the Wraiths has the High Elves running in fear. The battle is massacre for the Legions of Decay

With the Generous payment of gold and iron from Malekith the Witchking, the army of Boris Mountainbreaker engaged the putrescent hordes of Nurgle. Boris and his Mountain Breakers, an Elite unit of Maneaters that have served with him since his own Wanderings from the Wastes, managed to dissipate the chaos energies of the Great Unclean one that had been leading the enemy army. Boris, having been locked in ferocious combat with a Herald of Nurgle, still managed to inspire his troops and bring about a resounding victory. With the Great Unclean one falling to the Devestating Great Hammers and the instability of Warp Energies and with the Slave Giant eating and Consuming several Plague Bearers, including another Herald who did not manage to regenerate after the battle, the Ogres were the only ones standing amid remnants of slime and devestation.

Boris immediately called for a Victory sacking of the nearby town of Vladstov.

Edit - Vladstov, at the time of it's impending slaughter, was hosting an Elector Count and his personal armed forces which, alerted by the previous battle, drew up its army lines outside of the city and met the Ogres head on. Vicious fighting erupted and at the end of the day both forces retreated unbeaten, calling the day a draw. ( Kept the story going with a buddy who plays empire - wont count towards my points )

It should be against someone in the league; that's how we're keeping points (for example, if you lose/kill an enemy hero, for example)...

Just suck it up, wake up after a few minutes of sleep, and get to the store to game you big red-headed sissy!

There is a form on the front page for reporting battles. If you don't use it they won't be counted. Don't rely on your opponent to do the reporting for you. Although I think I did report all my battles.
