    Legendary Legions, Part 2

    First off, thanks to everyone who participated in the Legendary Legions Tournament this past Saturday. I hope that everyone had a blast & that you and your new armies are still getting along!

    Smile [:)]

    Now that the rush to assemble your forces has ended, and you've undoubtedly taken a few sighs of relief, I'm here to throw another gauntlet down; the Paint or Die portion of this Tournament. Here are a few of the particulars.

    1. There will be a Tournament held on July 12, being the summation of my week-long "I've been open for a year, can you believe it!" celebrations. It will be a 2000-point, soft-scores (via Hall of Heroes scorecards) fully-painted tournament. Space is incredibly limited, so it will be first-come, first reserved.
    2. There is a $50 deposit to play in this tournament, which is tied directly in with the Paint or Die portion of the contest.
    3. Registration will be between now and May 10th. All $50 deposits must be in by that time. Beginning May 11th, the Paint or Die portion of the contest will begin.
    4. Each portion of your Army will have 2 weeks to be completed; Heroes, Special, Rare & Core. Core is last, of course, because it's the largest portion of your army. That way, if you've finished your Heroes early, you can begin on your Core. Get your Special or Rare finished? Work on your Core. That way, you're effectively getting 8 weeks to work on your army in a structured, paced manner with a definate end-goal in sight. To sweeten the pot, for each portion that you've completed (you'll have to bring it into the store for pictures or to leave it here on display if you wish) you'll receive a $10 Gift Voucher for the store on the day of the Tournament. Finish all four components of your army, and not only will you have a great sense of accomplishment & something to be proud of, you'll have $40 back in your pocket from your $50 entry fee!
    5. The rules for the Tournament will be posted in a few days.

    If you've purchased into the Legendary Legions and would like to participate in this Paint or Die contest/Tournament, please fill out the survey below;

    Re: Legendary Legions, Part 2

    Is there going to be a separately judged painting contest or are they just going for the best presentation/painted/whatever for the tournament?

    edit: what he said

    Re: Legendary Legions, Part 2

    for the Tournament itself, it will be best presentation based upon the participants themselves; everyone will vote for their favorite army.

    There will be a seperate contest, the Warpstone painting contest that will be judged by myself, and will have several catagories. I'll have it all up in the official rules.
