    Terrain Workshop

I'm very interested in running a Terrain building workshop at the store. Is there any interest in this?

Hell ya. I have lots of foam and would be happy to spend a couple hours building terrain for the store. Get some great terrain together.

Read the title of the thread. Terrain building, not special painting. Although you could use 'special' painting classes.Stick out tongue [:P]
And no my bone giant doesn't ride on the little yellow bus. He ate the bus.

    Re: Terrain Workshop

So what's the status on this? I can donate a box of materials I have been collecting and will probably never use. Good stuff too that I paid stupid money for, or was that stupidly paid money for?
Either way, it's not just junk I thought would make a good peice of terrain, alot of it is from hobby modeling stores.
So would this be a saturday thing or during the week? I'm thinking possibly both so you can get the most people to come as their schedules permit.

    Re: Terrain Workshop

I guess my last post was deleted when the forums got rebooted.

Just a reminder that the Terrain building workshop will be this Saturday at 1:30pm. Bring what you'd like, and I'll have a bunch of stuff at the store, including foam, foamcore, some balsa wood, cutters, glue, flock, sand, etc. Thanks to Tim & Stephen for their donations to this. Remember that this is just a workshop for a bunch of us to get together and share tips, tricks, ideas and techniques; if we get some cool terrain built, then that's a plus.

    See you Saturday,
    Tom @ Red Claw

I've got about half a bottle left... don't know if it'll be enough. If you've got it, bring it.
