The one against your VC was just too close till  your Lord died. But I was thinking does your lord only have 2 wounds? I seem to think my thirster only did 2 to him before you removed him from play...

did he get removed in combat resolution phase?

Remember you can't have slaughter without laughter.

I killed the units on the front but still lost combat so I could not reform the unit to face the flank. I then moved my vampires to the flank then accepted a challenge against his blood thirster. I think it had something to do with his crown of the damned, makes him stupid some times.

It actually was not a terrible idea (other than the consequences for failing), the BT only had 2 wounds left my Lord has 5 Attacks, goes before the BT, Red fury, infinite hatred and Beguile... If only I remembered to force the demon to take the beguile test.

Over all I had 2 fun games, My Bretonnian failed when they failed their charges but I finally got to try out my massed bowmen. For Undead I got to try out my Ghoul King army.
