Reroll every armor save for a turn once per game, reroll one armor save per turn all game, or reroll one armor save once?  Cannot tell!

For one Turn, once in a game.

Re: Chapter 1: The Hunt Begins (Includes Rule Set)

Some thoughts since it is too hot to sleep. Are the benefits gainable more than one per stat? IE increase leadership multiple times. So Skaven could take inc leadership 5 times to match the elves? Or WS to the same point? Poor elves won't have any better leadership or WS than the dear little rats!

Is the adept ability limited to only magic users, or can all 5 of my DE assasins take this skill so my lvl 1 DE sorc. can create the ultimate Doombolt?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

If more than one character takes the re-roll who goes first ability (say 3 of my Hags take it 3 times each!) do they get to have that many re-rolls before every game?

Common sense should prevail here, but we are a group of adults that play with toy soldiers for fun, and I saw what Mercy was cooking up and it wasn't pretty...

    Sincerely,

    Da Duke

Well as Amazing Aim is the only one that specifies it can be taken only once per character it would follow that the other ones can be taken multiple times on the same character. At least that's how I read it.

    Duke of Deadmonton:

May only be taken once per Hero. Are your DE assasins heroes?

    Duke of Deadmonton:

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Due to the average size of a wood chuck and the general density of wood (not including cork) if a wood chuck could chuck wood it would probably get through about 6.573 pounds per day, assuming the wood chuck is functioning correctly.

Or in other words, About as many boards as the Mongol hoards would hoard if the Mongol hordes did hoard boards.

    Duke of Deadmonton:

If more than one character takes the re-roll who goes first ability (say 3 of my Hags take it 3 times each!) do they get to have that many re-rolls before every game?

You can only re-roll a roll once. Taking it with more than one character would be a waste. But go ahead, I won't stop you from taking the skill on multiple heros, just from rerolling the roll more than once.

And I threw out the old batch and started making something else. You're going to love my new recipe. Heh heh heh.

Re: Chapter 1: The Hunt Begins (Includes Rule Set)

Am I looking at the same "Hunt Begins" PDF?
Sage, Adept and Amazing Aim are all "once per hero" abilities

Only Shadowblade is a hero and he is named so no your assassins are not hero's

Great Strategist seems obvious that it can't be used more than once per game.

Blessed I would assume can stack but is not listed as +1MR

Does Rousing Orator give and extra +1 leadership if taken multiple time?

Lightning Reflexes reads as a 1 one time ability but can you have multiples of it?

Does Amazing Aim stack with other hero's with Amazing Aim joining the same unit?

Re: Chapter 1: The Hunt Begins (Includes Rule Set)

Should Common magic items be limited to 1 per 3 armies?
    or
An exception for the Scrolls and Stones?

Im assuming you don't have battles against players declared to the same faction? Do you have to declare a faction right away?

Re: Chapter 1: The Hunt Begins (Includes Rule Set)

Scrolls and stones are listed as an oddity in the rulebook; they are things that are created by the mage prior to battle, so you are free to have as many dispell scrolls (if you're a beardy git) and powerstones (if you're an insane miscaster) as you wish.

Other than that, all magic items are restricted to 1 per 3 armies.

    Also:

Amazing Aim adds +1 to a units BS. Should there be two heroes with this skill in the unit, it would be +2, etc...

No, you cannot take Lightning Reflexes more than once to affect multiple turns in a game. The rule reads that once per game a character may reroll all failed AS rolls.

Yes, you can take multiple WS or Ld Veteran skills to increase your statline to the maximum provided. Do I forsee that being a problem? Not really; you need to gain 3 victories to gain enough VP to give one character a veteran skill. To increase a Skaven's Ld to match that of an Elf would take several victories and allocating all of the VP to one hero from one list; should he perish in a duel, you've lost all your eggs and the basket they were sitting in...

The Adept skill is only useable by a character that already generates Power/Dispel dice. If you don't generate any dice, then you cannot generate any additional dice.

You can only re-roll a dice once. If you've got the skill & your opponent has the skill, then they will cancel each other out (note that BOTH dice are re-rolled when using this skill, not just your own). If you've two characters who have the Great Strategist skill & your opponent only has one, you can force a re-roll if you choose to.

"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

    I'll field that one...

A woodchuck would cuck as much wood as a wooodcuck could cuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

This was FAQ'd some time ago.....

I have a question, do we need to have all 3 lists written up before we start?

Re: Chapter 1: The Hunt Begins (Includes Rule Set)

In regards to Leadership and Skaven. It's true a Challenge might end it all with a quick Rat death but don't they lead from the rear and habitually refuse all challenges?

    I think I understand.

Is there a place we can post our army fluff? I am working on a Norse Ragnarok theme for mine.

As you are playing in the campain should we post our characters here?  How much info do you want about each char? Do we announce the experiance advantage each one has? anything elese you need to know?
