Quests from the Infinite Staircase
Step through the door to adventure!
The Infinite Staircase spirals in a dreamlike expanse with doors leading to fantastic realms. It’s home to the noble genie, Nafas, who hears wishes made throughout the multiverse and recruits heroes to fulfill them. These pleas summon adventurers suffused with planar energy, fairytale gardens in the feywild, ruins of ages gone by and other wonderous locales.
As fate would have it, you have been summoned to the heart of this realm where the noble Genie holds court in the Censure of Dreams. Those who head this call can have their own wishes granted should they succeed in aiding Nafas.
And so, we shall begin upon the steps of the Infinite Staircase.
Character Creation
All players will begin at Level 1.
Players MUST use Standard Array or Point Buy.
Players may use any character options that appear in the following sources:
- Players Handbook (2014) or 2024 (pending it’s release)
- Xanathar’s Guide to Everything
- Tasha’s Guide to Everything
- Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse
- Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos
- Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons
- The Book of Many Things
- Bigby Presents: Glory of Giants
- Ebberon: Rising from the Last War
- Van Rickton’s Guide to Ravenloft
- Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse
- The Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide
- Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen
Unearthed Arcana and Homebrew will not be used.
Players can also select a bonus feat at 1st level if their background does not provide one from either: Tough, Skilled, Magic Initiate, Mobile, Warcaster or Sentinel.
Players will have the opportunity to rebuild their characters with the new options in the Players Handbook 2024 if they desire to.
