Twas the night before the night before Christmas, and all through the land
Not a creature was stirring... except those ready to throw hands!!

Deep within the Radiant Citadel, under the floorboards of the Aurora Lageralis pub hides a club dedicated to nothing but the most brutal of battles--a fight club, if you will--where competitors from across the planes gather to compare their might against the best, brightest, and boldest. Each year, as the seasons across the realms turn to deep winter, fantastical beings compete for the Belt of Battlekind in the Winter Brawl. Each year, Saint Nick and his cadre of reindeer, elves, and automata take the prize handily--that is, until this year.

THIS year, you and an eclectic combination of adventurers from across the realms have gathered and pledged your allegiance toward one goal: to dethrone Saint Nick and to acquire the Belt of Battlekind for yourself. Your motivations are your own--some may seek revenge for a past slight from the Lord of Christmas; some seek to prove themselves in the ring; some simply want the Belt for themselves. None will succeed unless all stand together to dethrone Saint Nick and his crew.

This is... OPERATION: RING THE BELLS.

CHARACTER CREATION​

Players will create a Level 7 character.

Player MUST use Standard Array or Point Buy.

Players MUST take average hit points.

Players can use any D&D 5e resource for character options and use either the 2024 or 2014 Players' Handbook as a base. The DM will be using spell rules from 2014 D&D for Counterspell rulings.

If your chosen background does not grant a feat, add an origin fear from the 2024 Players' Handbook. 

Players may pick one (1) common magic item and one (1) uncommon magic item. 

MEET THE DM: Hello! My name is Kit. I've been playing 5e since 2014, and have been running other game systems for well over a decade. I run light, somewhat goofy, rule-of-cool tables with a focus on fun; I love when players try something unexpected, and I heartily welcome out-of-the-box thinking at the table. One of my favourite examples is a player using Detect Traps to navigate negotiations with a Hag in the Feywild! I aim to provide a welcoming game where old and new players can come together to have fun and tell a story you will remember for years to come.
